Evenley Village Church
The medieval church was gutted by fire in 1865 and rebuilt and renovated in the next few years thanks to the largesse of Mrs Pierrepoint at Evenley Hall. The main addition to the building was the wooden shingled spire which we note today.
The Church
The patron of Evenley Church is Saint George.
